Amphibian and Reptile Adoption Information
From time to time there are reptile or amphibian pets that are in need of a good home. The Western New York Herpetological Society tries to help these pets find new homes by helping to match people who want to adopt with the owners who can no longer keep their animals. While we often get called about iguanas, we also receive calls on many other reptiles and amphibians like bearded dragons, boa constrictors, and many others.
If you are able to give a reptile and amphibian a home please click here to find out how to adopt a reptile or amphibian. If you are looking for a particular type of animal then please let us know so we can let you know if that animal is ever surrendered to us. We do not accept animal surrenders directly, but will assist in any way possible to help match reptiles and amphibians with new homes, near the Buffalo area only.
If you have a reptile or amphibian pet that you can no longer keep and are located near Buffalo, NY then please see this page for more information.
